Lynn Public Schools enrolls 16,364 students, making Lynn the fourth largest district by enrollment in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Lynn Public Schools has 18 elementary schools (defined as any school that serves PK-5, K-5, or 1-5), three middle schools (grades 6-8), and three high schools (grades 9-12). Fecteau-Leary serves grades 7-12. Frederick Douglass Collegiate Academy serves grades 9-12 in college level subjects. City Arts and Sciences Academy (CASA - opening fall 2025) will be a grade 6-12 school. The district also has early childhood (pre-K) centers at Bennett Street and at Bessom Street. The TEAMS Program at Lynn Tech has moved to the Virginia Barton Center (formerly Briarcliff Lodge).
